I believe there are many ways to build a meaningful life and career.

Most of us are taught to think about our futures as a series of logical next steps. But our lives rarely unfold that neatly. I’m interested in what happens when we get curious instead: about what matters to us, what we've learned along the way, what possibilities we haven't considered, and what we might build next.

my story

I’ve spent my career following curiosity across boundaries that are usually treated as separate: academia, research, community engagement, strategy, higher education, and now coaching. I started as an art and architectural historian, studying how the built world reflects the ideas and values we hold, but over time, I became increasingly interested in what those ideas could do outside the walls of the university. Since then, I’ve worked with communities, organizations, and students to ask better questions, make sense of complicated problems, and turn what we learn into meaningful action. Along the way, my own career became an exercise in connecting the dots and recognizing that the skills and experiences I’d accumulated could open possibilities I hadn’t originally imagined. That experience shapes how I work now: I believe we already carry an enormous amount of knowledge about who we are and what matters to us, and that curiosity, reflection, and a little imagination can help us see what’s possible. Today, whether I’m coaching one person or facilitating a room full of people, my work is ultimately about helping people understand what they already bring, imagine where they might go, and move toward it with greater intention.
